Utilising d&b Audiotechnik along with industry standard microphones we provide bespoke packages to suit your requirements.
The E3 is an extremely small and versatile high performance system with astonishing sound and excellent headroom. The horn, which may be rotated to give either 90° x 60° or 60° x 90° coverage, has the necessary flexibility in directivity to enable a variety of applications such as delay, infill or distributed sound reinforcement applications.
Full range, 2-way loudspeaker
Dispersion 90° x 60°
SPLmax 123 dB
The E9 is a medium sized 2-way bass-reflex loudspeaker system with a full, warm bass and crystal clear highs. Having a frequency response down to 50 Hz, the E9 is a full range cabinet that can be used without subwoofers in many applications and, by placing the cabinet on its angled side panel, it can also be used as a stage monitor.
The asymmetry of the HF horn means that the E9 has a vertical coverage pattern with a downward tilt, 20° above and 30° below the cabinet axis, providing quick and easy coverage of near field listening areas.
2-way bass-reflex loudspeaker
Dispersion 90° x 50° CD
SPLmax 129 dB
The front of the loudspeaker cabinet is fitted with a rigid metal grill covered with a replaceable acoustically transparent foam and fitted with catches at the top and bottom to secure an optional transport lid. The cabinet incorporates a pair of steel handles and on the rear panel four heavy duty wheels. An M20 threaded flange in the top panel accepts single pole loudspeaker stand for the deployment of full range cabinets.
Frequency response (5 dB) 38 Hz
110 / 160 Hz
18 inch driver
The Q1 is a passive 2-way loudspeaker housing two 10" LF drivers positioned in a di-polar arrangement and a 1.3" HF compression driver fitted to a toroidal wave-shaping device. The 75° constant directivity horizontal dispersion pattern is maintained down to 400 Hz, while the vertical HF dispersion of 15° allows the Q1 to be used to construct vertical columns that produce a curved coherent wavefront.
The mechanical and acoustical design of the cabinet enables vertical splay angles to be set between 0° and 14°. Q1 cabinets can therefore be used in vertical configurations starting from two cabinets with a 15° to 30° dispersion, up to 20 cabinets with a fully user and venue defined vertical profile.
The Q7 is a 75° x 40° passive 2-way loudspeaker housing two 10" LF drivers and a 1.3" HF compression driver with a rotatable constant directivity horn and a passive crossover network. The two 10" neodymium LF drivers are positioned in a dipolar arrangement providing exceptional vertical dispersion control with the nominal angle being maintained down to 400 Hz.
The Q7 with the horn rotated is used to mount the loudspeaker horizontally where space is limited, or the maximum horizontal pattern control is needed and when added to the bottom of Q1 arrays. The Q7 can be used as a stand-alone full range system, in combination with other Q-Series cabinets ground stacked or mounted on a high stand with a swivel bracket. They can also be combined in flown array systems.
NB - Prices quoted are per speaker.
The Q-SUB is an actively driven low compression bass-reflex loudspeaker fitted with a high excursion 18" driver. d&b SenseDrive technology is available when powered by the D12 amplifier. The Q-SUB is mechanically compatible with the Q1 and Q7.
Ten sockets in the front grill and side panels for Q-Series rigging components permit use in various combinations, either flown or ground stacked. Two runners protect the bottom of the cabinet from scratching; these are located in correspondingly shaped recesses in the top panel to prevent movement when stacked.
The B2 subwoofer with its high output bandpass horn design and extremely high SPL is ideal for extended bass requirements. It is configurable to be either an infrabass for the C4 system or a high output, alternative subwoofer for the F1222 or C7 systems. When used with a C4 system, d&b recommend a ratio of four C4-SUBs to one B2.
The M4 is a 2-way high performance stage monitor employing an integrated 15” LF and 1.3” exit horn loaded HF coaxial driver design that utilizes neodymium magnets. The constant directivity dispersion of 50° x 70° (h x v), which this unique horn provides, delivers an accurately defined coverage area on stage.
The M4 can also be operated in 2-Way Active mode. When the cabinet is used in an upright position the M4 serves as a powerful PA loudspeaker with a 70° x 50° dispersion suitable for a variety of applications. For dedicated installation applications the dispersion characteristics of the M4 driver assembly can be rotated in 45° increments.
The D12 amplifier delivers medium to high power into low impedance loads between 4 and 16 ohms and is ideally suited for use in both mobile and installation environments. The D12 contains set-ups for all d&b loudspeakers and a linear mode.

The P1200A mainframe is housed in a 3 rack unit high, 19" rack mount enclosure. The mainframe incorporates power supplies for the controllers and mainframe electronics, two power amplifiers, softstart, monitoring and protection circuits with the associated indicators and all connectors.
All functions can be remotely interrogated and altered via the d&b Remote Interface Bridge (RIB). Used with d&b C or E-Series loudspeakers, the mainframe can be fitted with either one loudspeaker controller module plus the mono option, or two loudspeaker controller modules. The two channel power amplifier in the P1200A mainframe is a low feedback, low distortion design, fully protected from damage by overheating or connection to faulty or inappropriate loads, and it exhibits good stability into reactive loads along with excellent handling of fast rise-time signals and signal overload conditions.
Mainframe with two power amplifiers.
Maximum output power 2 x 600 W into 4 Ohms.
The small format single channel DSP based E-PAC power amplifier controller represents a cost effective alternative to the D12 amplifier for single loudspeaker configurations and multichannel applications.
The E-PAC provides set-ups for all current d&b loudspeakers (except for active systems, B1 and B2 subwoofers) and a linear mode that can be selected for MAX/MAX12 or other passive loudspeakers. The third generation of the E-PAC offers complete signal processing and all necessary protection circuits. d&b Load monitoring can provide both LF and HF driver status information within systems containing multiple drivers, even if these drivers are passively crossed over, a signal generator for sine or pink noise, all controls and indicators, a 4-band parametric equaliser, a delay function, Remote and Service interfaces providing remote control and monitoring and service upgrade functions. All these functions and parameters can be easily accessed and handled via the LCD in conjunction with a digital rotary encoder.

The light programs were great and the first dance was made all the more lovely due to it, thank you again. You went the extra mile - in fact, a few extra miles - on the whole thing and I want you to know that it made a huge difference to our day and that we hugely appreciate it".
